Our financing

Our resources and financing partners

Send by e-mail
The Jacques Delors Institute is funded by both public and private resources from several EU countries.
We benefited in 2016 from the support of two “major partners”, who contributed sums equal to or greater than 100,000 Euros in a multi-annual framework:

In 2016, Solvay joined our partners that provide us with a recurring support:

A part of our activities in 2016 was implemented on the basis of financial partnerships pegged to specific projects:
• “France and Europe: United in the Face of Threat” project, co-funded by the French Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs (2015-2016);
• “Juncker Plan” project funded by the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (2015-2016), and by the Parisian office of the European Commission (2016-2017);
• “Think tanks tandem” project, financed by the French Minister for Foreign and European Affairs (2016);
• “Hymns and anthems” project, co-financed by the Fondation Hippocrène (2016);
• “Politics of fears”, financed by Demos (2016);
• “European budget” project, co-financed by the European Parliament (2016);
• “More EU” project, co-financed by the European Commission (Jean Monnet network), in partnership with the Scuola Sant-Anna, Pisa (2015-2017);
• “Energy transition” project, co-financed by the Caisse des dépôts et consignations (2016-2017);
• “Faces on divides” project, co-financed by the European Parliament (2016-2017);
• “Forum of think tanks” project, financed by the Maltese Presidency of the EU (2016-2017);
• “” project, financed by the Horizon 2020 programme of the European Commission (2016-2019, in partnership with ISINNOVA, Rome)

We were also able to count on the exceptional support furnished by the Fonds Notre Europe, supplemented by fees and emoluments earned by our President Emeritus Pascal Lamy, by Airbus, Axa and Unicredit for our exceptional event of 2016, the 20th anniversary of the Institute.

Finally we benefited from support in kind, in particular through the offer of venues to host our events linked to the 20th anniversary of the Institute, of the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM), of the Mairie de Saint-Omer and of the Maison des associations d’Orléans for the organisation of citizens dialogues.
