Paris, 5 May 2015 - TTIP and Third States: The Case of Turkey
The Jacques Delors Institute organises in partnership with the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI), the Stiftung Mercator, and the Istanbul Policy Center (IPC), a closed seminar entitled "TTIP and third countries: the Case of Turkey", on Tuesday 5 may 2015, from 12.30 am to 2.00 pm at the Délégation de l’Union européenne – Assemblée Nationale 126, rue de l'Université - 75007 Paris.
As negotiations on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership proceed, questions arise regarding the impact it will have on third states with free trade or customs union agreements with either the EU or the US, and how such third states could be included in TTIP for the economic and political benefit of all. The experts invited will discuss the implications of TTIP for Turkey.
